Alita: Battle Angel is the first project I had the chance to work on as an Environment TD at Framestore. During five month, along with my lead James Harmer, I took care of the creation of the first bit of the Iron City at Night and the Stadium Exterior. A lot of the buildings and favelas model have been done by Weta. I had to layout all the city and add a lot of detail with some props, cables, antennas and pipes. The amount of assets and lights use in the whole environment were huge. Scripting some tools have been helping a lot. We ended up using a windowBoxes shader to light all the buildings interior. This experience was really crazy.
